The firm provides advice and assistance in lease negotiations, drafting lease documents, stamp duty issues, registration related matters etc. The firm works on the review of property records and drafting of necessary documentation in relation to use of land, due diligence, corporate leasing, structuring franchise operations in India, remittance issues and review of franchisee and operating agreements entered into between the parties, drafting and negotiations of collaboration agreement and Operations agreement and other related documents.
What We Have Done
- Reviewed project documents of leading real estate developers in NCR. Was involved in the preparation and finalization of term sheet and loan documentation including security structure for obtaining finances from NBFC for leading real estate developers.
- Represented leading real estate developers in India in its hospitality and entertainment centre projects in the country in collaboration with a multinational hospitality chain which involved review of all the property documents and the operational and management agreements executed between the parties as well as day to day negotiations and interaction with the senior members of the management. Developers included EMAAR MGF, Uppal Hospitality, Unitech, Sun City and others.
- Advised Hard Rock Café and TGIF in relation with its franchise operations in India and in this regard in review of the franchise agreements and obtaining necessary regulatory approvals from governmental agencies.
